| You continue on. Birdsong seems to decrease a bit as you venture farther from the unicorns' clearing. Finally, you come to a cluster of large rocks amidst the trees. On a smaller, rounded one the name "Beryl" is carved. As you read it, you sense something behind you, and turn. |

The creature says nothing, but watches you. It seems an odd mix of things; mainly bat and wolf. It certainly is a rather threatening presence, and when it finally turns from you and jumps onto one of the large rocks, you figure you should move on. |
