| You walk along the edge of the lake for a bit. There's a path, lined with blue and purple flowers, and you enjoy the scenery. The sunlight glints off of the water, and the surrounding plant life is lush and colorful. Soon enough, a splash and motion in the corner of your eye catches your attention. You wonder, is Dantris following after you as you walk along? You step over to the edge of the water, and peer in. There's nothing there. You glance up, and out and over the lake, but nothing interrupts the pattern of the water's surface. You stand back up, and walk a little bit farther, keeping an eye on the water. Finally, a head emerges and with a snort and a splash, you find yourself dripping wet. By the time you turn to the water, the creature has once again vanished underneath the surface. It wasn't Dantris... but it's something, and evidently, it thinks that you need to be wet as well. You walk back over to the edge of the salt-water lake, and a horse-like creature erupts from the water. |

A nearby rock informs you that his name is Etaven. He's a seahorse, literally. His top half is very much equine, but he's got a fish tail. He's really quite beautiful... and playful. He splashes more water on you with his tail, before finally diving back under. You decide to continue along the path. At least the sun is drying you off fairly quickly...
