| You follow along after Theoni, who leads you through the trees. The path branches off in many places, and while you get a little confused about which direction you seem to be going in, Theoni obviously knows her way around quite well. You question your guide about what other creatures live in the forest. "Saturn is constantly giving new creatures a home here, so you almost can't expect any certain creature to be in any certain place. Even I am occasionally surprised to come across someone new!" Theoni laughs. "For the most part, the majority of creatures that Saturn takes in know not to harm any sentient creatures they come across, and the worldmaker is especially careful about that in areas like this--", she waves a hand around at the surroundings, "--where the occasional person lives. I have faith that she'd never introduce some dangerous creature near my home without first telling me." A flash of something both dark and bright catches your attention to the left, and Theoni stops, looking a bit puzzled. "Purple and black? Hmm." Theoni thinks for a moment. "You might very well be about to meet something quite new indeed. Whatever that was, I don't think I've met it before... a perfect example of the lack of predictability about the creatures here," Theoni says quietly. She waits, standing quite still, and you follow her example. Soon enough, you can spot the purple and black creature peering at the two of you from behind a group of trees. It is in shadow, but glows faintly. Theoni slowly inches foward a bit, and when the creature doesn't run, she walks foward a bit more steadily. You follow, and soon, you are quite near the new inhabitant. |

"Greetings," Theoni says softly to the new creatures. It looks at from her to you, before stepping out to sniff Theoni's outstretched hand. It then goes back to what it must have been doing before you came along; exploring it's new habitat. You look up to see a piece of waterproof parchment tacked onto a nearby tree.
